These are crash-photos of a Jack Devine P-47D.  This model had a LOT of scale detail, including panel lines and some rivets are visible as well.  Ouch.

This was a nice  P-47 D.

Although it hit the ground hard, notice how little damage the actual components suffered.

You may wonder why we would chose to put photos of a crashed plane on our website. Good question.  Take a look at this plane closely.  See the damage up close.  It hit the ground HARD.  You can easily see that the wings popped in half upon impact, but notice that the wings themselves sustained little damage.  Look at the fuselage.  It's still straight, and it's primarily intact.  Why?  Because our foam-core technology creates energy-absorbing components!  Jack Devine models are TOUGH, and made to take the punishment a model can be subjected to.
